Galaxy Tab 7.7 Guide – Most Known Issues and Solutions

One of the biggest issues for a lot of frequent XDAers is dealing with the same questions over and over again. Having to link user after user to the same guides to fix the same problems can quickly increase one’s stress levels and can even invoke moments of rage. Of course, on the other end of the spectrum, there are a lot of ways you can word a problem and sometimes the search doesn’t always have the answer, even if it’s there.
For those who own the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, there is an alternate to the search feature. XDA Forum Member Theory has made a compilation of the known issues for the 7.7 and helps direct users to the proper tutorials and guides to fix their problem. The guide features answers to questions ranging from how to get root access to simple things like changing the lock screen wallpaper and properly connecting the Galaxy Tab 7.7 to their computers. The guide offers pretty much everything a new user needs to learn the ropes and get to where they need to go.
After seeing similar questions get asked and answered several time over, I thought this might be helpful (not least for myself). No particular order for now. Feel free to propose additional Q/A or edits–I’ll credit accordingly. Thanks to our moderator (original_ganjaman) for making this a sticky.
So if you happen to use the thread, can’t find your solution and find it elsewhere, you have the option to address it in the thread which will help keep it current for the next set of new users to file in.
