Motorola Atrix HD Officially Announced – Coming To AT&T For Only $100 On Contract

We all knew it was coming, but today the Motorola Atrix HD has been officially announced for AT&T. Only $100 with a 2-year agreement, the Atrix HD features a 4.5-inch 720p HD “ColorBoost” display, 8MP shooter, 1.5GHz dual-core processor running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

All this on a phone measuring in at only 8.4mm thick and constructed with a DuPont Kevlar fiber frame and splash guard coating. So, that means not only could the Atrix HD stop a bullet, but function perfectly after an accidental spill into a puddle (don’t try that at home).

As an added bonus, Motorola’s “SmartActions” also come pre-loaded on the Atrix HD, giving the user unprecedented control and automation of their phone’s functionality.

For our friends in Canada, it was also announced that the Atrix HD will also be headed to Bell customer, but pricing and availability will be revealed at a later date. Read on for full press details.
