Tegra 3 Powered Nexus Tablet Built by ASUS to be Unveiled at Google I/O?

There are many things to look forward to when the annual Google I/O rolls around and new Android hardware is one of them. According to a “trusted source” close to Techno Buffalo we have at least one piece of hardware we can look forward to at this this years conference and it may even go home with each attendee. TB is reporting that the previously rumored ASUS branded Nexus tablet will finally rear it’s head. Sure, nothing new here except for the fact that this tablet is suggested to be powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. How can this be you ask? Wasn’t the Nexus tablet supposed to be around the $200 price point? Yes it was, and it still can be. Don’t forget about Project Kai that we just heard about. That’s the NVIDA Tegra 3 chip designed to be reasonably priced while still providing the power we have come accustomed to when it comes to Tegra 3 performance. See, everything is starting to fall into place… sort of. Conflicting reports are also saying that Android 5.0 Jelly Bean may or may not come pre-loaded on the developer giveaway tablet but it kind of seems a bit early for that. Good thing June 27th is just a month away, we will be on scene to report the full scoop.
